QC U12 Premier Boys win double gold - Challenge Cup and Summerfest TournamentsThe QC98s (U12 Premier boys) won two outdoor tournaments in the space of 2 weeks, defeating UCT in winning the QC/UCT Challenge Cup June 18-20 and prevailing over Prince Albert in ACFC's Summerfest tournament July 2-4. The QC98s won all 10 tournament games during these two tournaments.
Special thanks goes to head coach Eric Blair and his assistant Mike Mann for guiding and leading these boys to play some really great soccer. The Club can be proud and were well represented both by the parents on the sidelines and the boys on the field. It was a fun 2 weekends, Congratulations boys!!!

QC U10 Premier Boys White Earn 1st Place at the Challenge CupThe Queen City Under 10 Premier Boys White team (also known as the QC 2000) earned 1st place at The Challenge Cup (June 18-20) which was the 2nd Annual SSA and RSA sanctioned outdoor tournament hosted by The Queen City and U.C.T. Soccer Clubs here in Regina.
The boys took gold for the U-12 Division II category. They played a total of 4 games without conceding a goal. Congratulations to players and coaches Jimmi Pham and Steve Gotto.

2nd annual QC Club Run for Childrens Diabetes a Success!
The second annual QC Club run for Childrens Diabetes was held at wascana park on June 1. Over 200 hundred runners and walkers took part raising $9200 towards the cause. This surpasses last year's total of a little over $6000. A huge thank you goes out to all those who took part in helping to support this worthwhile cause! Another thank you goes out to all the volunteers who stepped forward to help with the event, with a special thank you to Sandy Stepan for once again taking the lead on this project. See you all again next year!

QC U12 Boys Complete Perfect Season in Sweep of League and RSA Cup TitlesThe Queen City United White U12 Premier Boys, otherwise known as the QC98's were crowned City Champions after breezing through an undefeated, untied season with 14 wins and 0 losses, scoring 59 goals (this was actually more, as RSA does not record goals beyond 5 goal differential) and only letting in 10.
They capped off this perfect league season by winning the RSA Cup final over REU Impact, on March 7th, 2010. Special thanks goes to Head Coach Eric Blair and Assistant Coach Tyler Blair for keeping the boys’ feet on the ground and continuing to push and inspire them to becoming better players.

Queen City South United Soccer Club’s Breakaway TournamentOur club hosted its 5th annual SSA- and RSA-sanctioned indoor tournament at Regina ’s fantastic indoor soccer facility on Nov. 13 to 15th. The Queen City Under 10 Boys Premier White team did very well at the tournament, earning 1st place for the team and club, for the U – 10 Premier category. One Step Closer
Recently, our Technical Director Hugh Dooley and valued technical staff member Dwayne Head moved one step closer to completing their UEFA "A" coaching licences. The two traveled to Toronto to complete their final assessment an 11v11 field session. Both were successful and they will now return to Belfast to attend the final week of lectures and on field sessions. At that point they will receive their new certification. Congratulations to both Hugh and Dwayne on this achievement!

QC United Hosts Successful Run for Charity
On Tuesday, June 2nd QC United held its first club run for charity. This year's cause was Juvenile Diabetes. The evening was a perfect night for a run with a large number of club members participating, successfully raising $6,796 for the cause. A big thanks goes out to Sandy Stepan and her organizing committee for making the event such a success. See you all next year!

Wonderful 2008/2009 Winter Season
The Queen City United 2000 Under 10 Boys Premier team had a wonderful 2008/2009 Winter Season. This tiny, but mighty team of 10, 8 year old boys, played amazing soccer this season! Much thanks to coaches: Hugh Dooley, Jim Kroczynski and Chico Adem for a spectacular season of games and practices. The boys earned their way to the RSA Cup finals. The final game occurred on Sunday, March 8th at Noon, where they faced the UCT Lightning, earning the Silver Medal for the team and club. Congratulations QC Boys Under 10 Premier!

RSA Releases 2009 Outdoor Season End Date
In order to better help families book their summer holidays, the RSA Competition Committee has announced that the outdoor season for all youth teams playing in the RSA leagues for Outdoor 2009 will end July 12th, 2009.
RSA League Ends on July 12th with Cup Finals on that weekend
PSL League Ends on July 12th with Finals on that weekend.
